What is 4Summers?
4summers is a sunglasses brand where fashion meets purpose. But we're not just a sunglasses brand—we’re a movement. All sunglasses sold contribute directly to Visual Snow Syndrome (VSS) research. Our mission is to bring clarity—literally and metaphorically—to those struggling with a misunderstood neurological condition.
Founded by musician and entrepreneur Scott4Summers, 4summers is a testament to resilience, creativity, and giving back. Scott’s journey with VSS inspired this brand and an entire artistic project to shed light on the condition and uplift others.
Scott’s Story: Why 4summers Exists
“Six years ago, my vision changed. I saw static everywhere, doctors said I was fine, but I knew I wasn’t. I felt like I was going blind or losing my mind. For years, I was afraid, isolated, and misunderstood. Eventually I found a good doctor that helped me get diagnosed with Visual Snow Syndrome. There was no cure, but I finally figure out what I was up against. I created 4summers to raise awareness and make a difference for people like me.

The Visual Snow Initiative has been a huge help for me personally on my journey with VSS—from understanding what I was dealing with to finding support when it felt like no one else really got it.
