4Summers is a brand founded on the belief that style can serve a greater purpose.
With every pair of sunglasses sold, we donate a portion of proceeds to support research and care for those affected by Visual Snow Syndrome. These contributions will directly fund leading research centers and nonprofit organizations dedicated to finding a cure and improving quality of life for individuals living with this condition.
As we begin selling glasses, this page will feature a live, up-to-date counter showing how much we've donated so far. We’ll also share exactly where those funds are going and keep you informed on any breakthroughs or progress in Visual Snow research. Transparency and community impact are at the heart of what we do.
What is Visual Snow Syndrome?
Visual Snow Syndrome is a rare and often misunderstood neurological condition that affects how people see the world. Individuals with this disorder constantly perceive visual "static" — a flickering, snow-like effect similar to the static on an untuned TV screen. This visual noise can be accompanied by other symptoms such as light sensitivity, afterimages, difficulty seeing at night, and migraines. There is currently no known cure, and many people struggle with the impact it has on their daily lives.
